Wart is just a young boy who aspires for a knight's squire. On a hunting trip he drops in on Merlin, a amnesiac although robust magician with plans for him outside squiredom. He starts by trying to provide him an education, thinking that once one comes with an education, one can proceed anywhere. Need less to sayit doesn't quite work out this way.
