I will always remember this. To this day I feel such gratitude to those divers. Those miraculous men. It's one thing to spring into action in the heat of the moment - but to prepare over days, knowing the odds....those are just very different and special people. As a side note - I think one of those rescuers ended up needing to be rescued himself up in Tennessee a bit later.

A rescue mission is assembled in Thailand where a group of young boys and their soccer coach are trapped in a system of underground caves that are flooding.

Nothing short of a herculean effort! I am absolutely and thoroughly amazed at the depth and breadth of human ingenuity and bravery involved in this rescue. Truly heroic, in every sense of the word. Those divers are most definitely made from a different cut of cloth than the rest of us mere mortals.

I have watched this three times now and can't emphasize how amazed I was when this event unfolded fours years ago and the deep respect I have for all the people involved. Ron Howard has done a excellent job transferring it to film and I was so impressed by Viggo's authentic English accent, which was better than Colin's! An inspiring piece of history about all aspects of collaborative humanity, which we'll probably never witness again.

A five star film. I caution you if you have anxiety issues, as it will trigger you. I literally applauded at the end, and was in tears. Truly a touching movie, and I believe it should be the movie of the year. Those who didn’t survive helping rescue, may they truly rest in peace.

Never forget lieutenant commander Saman 'Sam' Gunan who gave his life on that cave to rescue those kids and Major Beirut Pakbara who contracted a blood infection during the rescue and died later, both frogman both heroes. May your souls find peace.

I know this will sound crazy, but I felt totally SPEECHLESS, I am very Proud of Ron Howard 💙 Once giving the Public a chance too Realize what EVERYBODY, went through PAINFUL DESSIONS for trying thier BEST to save the Scoccer Team, as a GROUP ALLLLL DID AWESOME

The Rescue documentary is a must-watch! What a fantastic tale of unity, perseverance, and just humanitarian love. I was super emotional watching this, and I must say it restored my faith in humanity!

Just have to add that the coach who was with the boys is an extraordinary man. The way he kept them calm, led them through meditations and ways to keep the fear at bay...just remarkable.

Considered the most incredible rescue the world has ever seen and the divers were considered the best in the world. The rescuers should have been given medals for honor and bravery.

Absolute insanity.. the film has managed to give credit to those who are all involved and the emotionality of everyone has been highlighted richly. Very well done.

Speaking from purely as a diver, I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt, rescuing these boys is no different than trying to rescue someone from Mt. Everest.

From watching all the news coverage as it happened... To watching "The Rescue"... Those divers are true heroes doing something that was seen as impossible.

A great humanitarian true story film! I cried and felt every emotion they were feeling! Thailand ppl were such humble prayer ppl I loved their beautiful sensitivity and faith while caught up in such a demonic attack! Thousands of angels were no doubt present!

I love this story!!! I’m so happy they made it into a movie. They really save all 13 kids!!!! Crazy!!!!

5000 ppl came from all over the world to help rescue these brave boys. Restored my faith in humanity! The Thai ppl were most humble and gracious. To God be the glory!
