this is a 37-year-old movie. for the time when this movie came out this was a great movie. does it compare with a graphics in CGI of today's movies no of course not. but given it's time period and the things available at that time this was a fantastic movie.

interesting fact, in the scene where maverick and iceman are talking about where maverick was during the opening scene engagement with the mig was with cougar, all the names on the wall in the background wall next to the planes are the names of the production crew.
