Murderer Ryan Weaver manages to break free and cause chaos on convicts transporting. As various people on board fall prey to Weaver, it is down to flight attendant Teri Halloran to help keep the aircraft from crashing, together with on-ground support from an air traffic controller. Weaver continues to terrorize the members of their crew while Halloran fights to pilot the plane.
