1000 AD, for years, one-eye, a warrior of strength, was held captive from the Norse chieftain Barde. Aided a boy slave by Are, one-eye slays his captor and he and Are escape, beginning a journey to the heart of darkness. On their flight, one-eye and Are board a vessel, but the boat is soon engulfed by an endless fog that clears only as the crew sights an unknown land. As the world shows its secrets and their fate is confronted by the Vikings, one-eye discovers his real self.
