A publishing executive humiliated and has been seen by a vampire and starts exhibiting behaviour. He pushes his secretary as he attempts to come to terms with his or her illness. Drink and the vampire proceeds to see his bloodand because his insanity deepens, it begins to appear as though some of these events he is experiencing may be hallucinations.

dude, the whole time i thought peter actually did get bitten, but since rachel didn't have him drink her blood, he was still human. but it was actually a man's madness (untreated schizophrenia) that drove him to suicide.
