Capitol Police Man John Cale has only been denied his dream job of protecting President James Sawyer, with the Secret Service. Perhaps not wanting to let down his young girl he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed group. With the country's government slipping exercising, it's upto Cale to conserve the president, his daughter, and also the country.

the podium and him, he wouldn't have survived and that blast was so big that the whole room and around the outside of the room had scored marks everywhere and with the fireball in the air being so big, that room and everything in it would have been destroyed, John would have died

this is an awesome movie and have watched it many times but they screwed up a big part of the ending, watching it too many times and I caught it later, when John wrapped the belt around the assholes head and pulled the pins and got behind the podium, that blast would've taken out

I noticed another mess up, each new president has his palm print put into the computer to control the launch codes so Jamie fox's character couldn't open the nuclear football because the codes and the right palm print would have to match

can't believe that they have Emily so smart but she's not smart enough to put her phone on do not disturb so that the phone would be in silence mode, texts or calls or emails wouldn't be heard at all
