After standing as best man because of his longtime friend Carl Petersen, Randy Dupree loses his job, becomes a barfly and attaches himself to the newlywed couple almost permanently -- because their houseguest. However, the more Dupree peaks outside on their sofa, the closer he gets Molly, into Carl's bride, leaving the groom wondering when his pal is likely to be moving out.
