Fawn Reed performed in the role of "Nelly", in "Nelly's Bodega" in the 2000 film, screened on WNET/Channel 13 as part of Reel New York. "Nelly's Bodega" was screened as a part of the Cannes Forum in 2000 and won "Best Drama" at the 2004 Women of Color Film Festival in New York City.
