Auf Wiedersehen Pet is a British show about seven British migrant construction workers who leave the UK to hunt for employment overseas. In the show, they live and work on a construction site in Düsseldorf, Germany. For a dodgy business man on his swimming pool at his home in Spain, and then a man or in the English countryside, they work in the show. In the show, set fifteen decades after , they go back for a significant endeavor on the Middlesbrough transporter bridge which contributes to them employed in Arizona. On a British embassy in Havana, Cuba, they focus in the show.The lead roles were played with Tim Healy, Kevin Whately, Jimmy Nail, Gary Holton, Christopher Fairbank, Pat Roach and Timothy Spall.Auf Wiedersehen, Pet was created by Franc Roddam after a notion by Mick Connell came to mild. It was written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, who wrote The Likely Lads, Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? And P Orridge. Stan Hey led writing a number of episodes. Clement and LaFrenais's Witzend Productions and also Central Television co-produced the first two show and the show were broadcast on ITV at 1983-1984 and 1986. A successful revival of this show saw two chain and also a Christmas special shown on BBC One in 2002 and 2004.The show was that the topic of the very first bout of this BBC documentary show Drama Connections.
