Mr. Belvedere is an American sitcom that originally aired on ABC in March 15, 1985, until July 8, 1990. The show is loosely predicated upon the Lynn Aloysius Belvedere personality created by Gwen Davenport on the 1947 novel Belvedere, that was adapted in to the 1948 film Sitting Pretty. The sitcom celebrities Christopher Hewett in the title character, that takes a job as a housekeeper by having an American family led by George Owens, played with Bob Uecker.
