Næturvaktin, (The Night Shift), revolves around the lives of several employees working at the Shell gas station in Laugavegur, Reykjavík. The three person night-shift is made up of eccentric supervisor Georg Bjarnfreðarson, a committed Marxist, vegan, with an admiration for all Swedish. Ólafur Ragnar, a normal employee. And Daníel Sævarsson, who after dropping out of medical school joins the team.What the three men do not understand is due to the job how their lives will be forever linked.
