Seven months following the passing of his wife, Frank Goode resembles a reunion with his four children. When all of them counter their visits Frank, against the recommendation of his doctor, puts out to reconnect with his off spring. As he visits every one of these subsequently, Frank finds that his sons'and daughters' lives aren't as picture perfect because they will have left them out to be.
