A wonderful film....except, in France they would not of used the N word to identify Du Barrys Negro companion. They would of referred to him as a Negre...the N word is a Americanized slander of the original French pronunciation. Depps performance is strong and true.

I think it was a really great movie ,but I don't think she deserved the guillotine.. She could barely help herself how was she going to help all of France..

this is a very good movie and I really like the fact that I've seen so many stories and movies about the dauphin and Maria Antoinette but never about his father.
