There resides A family in the Mexican countryside raising fighting bulls. Esther is responsible for conducting the ranch, even while a poet, her husband Juan, raises and selects the beasts. Even though in a open union, their relationship begins to crumble when Esther falls deeply in love with a American horsebreaker and Juan isn't able to restrain his jealousy.
