Denzel earned the role, he played in the first, now second & the third. He is very good & compassionate, as an actor & human being. He wouldn't degrade siestas, not like Snipes. I know nothing of Banks. Besides this isn't a martial arts movie. Mr Washington can play various roles

honestly, I think Wesley Snipes or Billy Blanks would have played a better role. But Denzel Washington did an okay job. It's just that in a martial arts type of role, you should have someone who's fluent in the arts.
