A psychological horror film based on the short story by H.P. Lovecraft. Daniel Upton's relationship with his friend Edward Derby is changed after Edward becomes involved in Asenath Waite, a hypnotist with an odd standing. Since Edward's behavior grows more erratic and incidents unexplainable, Daniel investigates. Is it insanity. . .or something?
