The Chico Hamilton Quintet

West Coast jazz band led by drummer Chico Hamilton. Other members have included bassists Carson Smith and Jim Aton; guitarists John Pisano and Jim Hall; woodwind players Paul Horn and Buddy Collette; and Fred Katz on cello, an unusual lead instrument for jazz.
