In 1963, the U.S. government launched a covert space assignment sending hundreds of people and kids to a century-long vessel aboard the starship Ascension to populate a new world. Nearly 50 years into the travel, while they approach the point of no return, a mysterious murder of a woman causes the people to question the genuine nature of these assignment of the ship.
