Brass Eye is a UK tv collection of news magazines. A string of six episodes aired on Channel 4 in 1997, and also a further episode in 2001.The series was created by Chris Morris, also written by David Quantick Morris, Peter Baynham, Jane Bussmann, Arthur Mathews and Graham Linehan. The show was led by Michael Cumming. It ended up being a sequel to Morris teaser news programs On the Hour and The Day Today. It satirised networking portrayal of societal ills, in creation and particular sensationalism of moral panics. The series starred Morris's The Day to Day colleague Doon MacKichan and Gina McKee, Mark Heap, Simon Pegg, Julia Davis and Kevin Eldon.
