Danny Phantom is an American animated TV show made by Billionfold Studios and created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It was sold by Nelvana, a Canadian animation company. The Fairly OddParents was also sold by Nelvana. The show is about a 14-year-old boy named Danny Fenton who, after an accident with an unpredictable portal between the human world and the supernatural "Ghost Zone," becomes half-ghost and often saves his town and the world from ghost attacks while trying to keep his ghost half a secret from everyone except his best friends Tucker Foley and Samantha Manson. The first episode aired on April 3, 2004, and the last one was on August 24, 2007. There were a total of 53 episodes over 3 seasons. It is being put out on DVD right now. Hartman said on Twitter on August 5, 2013, that the show might come back because fans kept praising it and T.U.F.F. Puppy ratings were good. However, neither Hartman nor Nickelodeon has said anything official about it yet.
