Dirty Jobs can be a program on the Discovery Channel, created by Pilgrim Films & Television, by which host Mike Rowe is shown acting difficult, strange, disgusting, or messy occupational duties along with the employees. The series premiered using just two pilot episodes from November 2003. It came back on July 26, 2005 as a succession, running until September 1 2, 2012 for 8 seasons. The show's atmosphere was refocused in Australia for the season, promoted as Dirty Jobs Down Under.There is also a European edition of the series, hosted by Danish prior goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.On November 21, 2012, Mike Rowe announced that Discovery Channel had cancelled Dirty Jobs.
