After the departure of his wife, world-class neurosurgeon Dr. Andrew Brown leaves Manhattan and moves his family to the town of Everwood, Colorado. There he finds parenting about the fly as he lifts his talented however resentful 15-year-old kid Ephram and his daughter Delia and becomes a small-town doctor.
