Saved by the Bell is a American television sitcom which aired on NBC from 1989 to 1993. The show follows the exploits of several friends and their principal, and although the series chiefly showcases lighthearted comedic conditions, it rolls on serious social issues, such as drug use, driving under the influence, homelessness, divorce, and death, along with ecological issues.
