Squidbillies is an animated tv series about the Cuylers, an impoverished family of the mountains of Georgia living within the Appalachian region of anthropomorphic mud squids. The series premiered on October 16, 2005 and is produced by Williams Street Studios for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block. It's composed by Dave Willis, co-creator of all Jim Fortier, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force, previously of The Brak Show, both of whom worked tirelessly on the Adult Swim series Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The cartoon is done by Awesome Incorporated, with background design by Ben Prisk.
