The Avengers is a television show. The Avengers initially focused on Dr. David Keel and his assistant John Steed. Left after Steed and the first show became the personality. Steed's most renowned assistants were women: Cathy Gale also later Tara King. After episodes incorporated elements of science fiction and fantasy, parody and eccentricity.
