Fifteen-year-old Skye goes with her dad from the large city to rural Northern Ireland, where they shoot over a neighborhood family owned  hotel named North Star, previously managed by the grandfather of Skye. Skye attempts to construct a brand new life, however this life isn't free from complications because Skye must navigate through the regular stresses of life and attempts to integrate to a group of adolescents that live and work at the hotel.
