I remember watching this movie as a teenager on HBO, I loved it then & I love it even more now! vampires are my second favorite monsters for sure!

I don't know why Anne Rice didn't want Tom Cruise to play the part! I think he did a awesome job playing the part of the lead vampire for sure!
