Fed up with humans every October 31 with the identical kind of bag of tricks, Jack Skellington, the king of Halloween Town, kidnaps Santa Claus and plans to provide shrunken heads as well as other ghoulish gifts to kids on Christmas morning. But as Christmas approaches, the rag-doll girl friend, Sally of Jack, tries to foil his plans that are marginal.
