Based to the Geoff Johns/Gary Frank 2008 release"Superman: Brainiac," Superman: Unbound finds the horrible force responsible for its devastation of Krypton (Brainiac) descending up on Earth. Brainiac has crossed the universe, collecting cities out of interesting planets, Kandor added, and now the allknowing android has his sights fixed on Metropolis. Superman has to summon all his physical and intellectual resources to protect his city, the love of his life, and his newly-arrived cousin, Supergirl.
